24. Çevrim Güneş Parlamaları ile Koronal Kütle Atımları İlişkisi

Abstract

Güneş parlaması, Güneş atmosferinde plazma ısınmasına bağlı olarak aktif bölgeler ile ilişkili manyetik alanlarda depolanan muazzam bir enerjinin aniden serbest kalması, Koronal Kütle Atımı ise atmosferik plazmanın gezegenler arası boşluğa püskürülmesidir. Her iki olayında Güneş atmosferinde depolanan manyetik enerjiyi serbest bırakan aynı sürecin farklı tezahürleri olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu nedenle CSHKP (Carmichael (1964), Sturrock (1966), Hirayama (1974), Kopp & Pneuman (1976)) parlama modeli manyetik yeniden birleşmeyi temel alarak CME oluşumu parlamanın oluşum sürecine yakın zamanlarda meydana gelebileceği düşünülmektedir.Bu çalışmada 24. Güneş Leke Çevrimi boyunca, GOES uydusuyla gözlenen Güneş parlamaları ile SOHO/LASCO uydusuyla gözlenen koronal kütle atımları arasındaki istatistiksel ilişkisi ve sonuçları tartışılacaktır.

Relationship between Cycle 24 Solar Flares and Coronal Mass Ejections

Abstract

Solar flare is the sudden release of enormous energy stored in magnetic fields associated with active regions due to the heating of plasma in the Sun's atmosphere, while Coronal Mass Ejection is the ejection of atmospheric plasma into interplanetary space. Both events are thought to be different manifestations of the same process that releases magnetic energy stored in the Sun's atmosphere. Therefore, CSHKP (Carmichael (1964), Sturrock (1966), Hirayama (1974), Kopp & Pneuman (1976)) flare model is based on magnetic reconnection and it is thought that CME formation may occur close to the flare formation process. In this study, the statistical relationship and results between the solar flares observed with the GOES satellite and the coronal mass ejections observed with the SOHO/LASCO satellite during the Solar Cycle 24 will be discussed.
