Abstract
For examining wood anatomical structure, the chisel is used to
take wood samples from living trees. This practice takes a lot of time,
requires mechanical power and destroys trees much more. With this proposed
mechanized technic, wood samples can be taken in 1-2 minutes by using a
professional, high speed and cordless drill that cylindrical punches can be plugged into. Thanks to this technic, energy
loss reduces,
the damage done to trees decreases and taking transverse, radial and tangential
sections from wood samples by microtome is possible.

Abstract
Odunun anatomik yapısını incelemek
için dikili ağaçların gövdelerinden odun örneği alınmasında keski
kullanılmaktadır. Bu uygulama; çok zaman almakta, mekanik güç gerektirmekte ve
ağacı fazla tahrip etmektedir. Önerilen bu mekanize teknikle odun örnekleri,
ucuna istenilen ebatta silindirik pançların takılabildiği yüksek hızlı ve
şarjlı profesyonel matkap kullanılmak suretiyle 1-2 dakika gibi çok kısa bir
sürede alınabilmektedir. Bu sayede, enerji kaybı azalmakta, ağaca verilen
tahribat en aza inmekte ve alınan odun örneklerinden mikrotomla enine, radyal
ve teğet yönde kesit almak mümkün olmaktadır.
