Abstract

In this study, length-weight
relationship and condition factor of L. mormyrus were determined in the
Black Sea.
306 individuals (170 female and 136 male) of the species were caught between 2017and 2018 with
trammel nets.
The mean
length and the mean weight of the specimens were determined as 18.18 cm +
2.01 (Min:15.7 - Max:31.0) and 79.16 g + 38.20 (Min:49.23 - Max:393.8),
respectively.
The length - weight
relationship was described by the following formula
W = 0.0147 L2.9475 (R²
= 0.9421) with a negative allometric growth.
Fulton condition
factor (K) was calculated, 1.17 for all samples.
