Abstract
AB’nin temel dayanağı olarak GATT’ın değerlendirildiği makalede GATT’ın Avrupa entegrasyonunun yolunu açan rolü ve günümüzdeki işlevi ele alınmaktadır. GATT’ın WTO’na (Dünya Ticaret Örgütü) dönüştüğü 1995’te AB WTO’da üye devletler yanısıra bağımsız olarak yerini almıştır. WTO hukuku bu şekilde AB ticaret politikasının ayrılmaz parçası haline gelmiştir. İki taraflı ve çok taraflı tercihli ticaret anlaşmalarının artmasının iki örgütün karşılıklı etkileşiminde doğuracağı sonuçlara makalede ışık tutulmaktadır
